Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine

The TCVM exam, charted as you examine.

Tongue, pulse, palpation, five element — the whole exam recorded in one structured case file. A hands-free voice assistant fills the fields while both your hands stay on the horse, and optional AI suggestions offer a second read to check against your own.

  • Structured TCVM charting
  • Hands-free voice entry
  • Offline in the barn

How it works

From intake to a finished case record

One case file that travels with you — phone in the barn, browser at the desk — and assembles the clinical picture while you examine.

  1. 01

Open the case where you are

Start it on the phone, in the barn or in the browser at your desk — it's the same live case either way. It installs to the home screen and opens with no signal.

  2. 02

    Record findings as you examine

Seven steps that mirror what you actually do: tap the horse, the tongue zones, the pulse positions, the Back-Shu line. Or say it out loud and keep both hands on the horse.

  3. 03

    Findings carry across the record

Every entry feeds one live findings panel — per-organ rollups, Shu+Mu+Ting trios, Sheng/Ke disturbances, tongue and pulse patterns. The picture is assembled before you reach the diagnosis.

  4. 04

Reach a diagnosis and print the plan

Optional AI suggestions give a ranked second read of your own findings — yours to verify. Then turn the working diagnosis into an editable point prescription and print the treatment plan.

The exam

Seven steps, one continuous record

Each step captures what you actually examine — nothing more — and every entry feeds the same case. The record fills itself in as you go.

  1. 1

    Intake

Signalment, vitals, owner complaint, structured history.

  2. 2

    Observation

An anatomical horse map with tappable regions — and four hooves.

  3. 3

    Tongue

Four-zone map, global qualities, pattern suggestions.

  4. 4

    Pulse

Quick read, or the full six-position matrix with Kidney Yin/Yang.

  5. 5

    Palpation

Back-Shu, Mu, Ting & diagnostic points from the canon graph.

  6. 6

    Five Element

    A wheel with a Sheng/Ke disturbance detector.

  7. 7

    Diagnosis

Eight Principles, Zang-Fu, pattern picker, treatment plan & outcome.

AnimaChart's hands-free voice assistant listening, with live captions and findings saved as the vet speaks.
The assistant listens, fills the fields, and reads each entry back before it saves.

New Hands-free voice

Chart hands-free, both hands on the horse

Speak while you examine. The assistant writes what you say into the case's structured fields, reads each finding back for confirmation, and can open a case or pull up a past one without you touching the screen.

  • Dictate any step — “Bl18 left, grade 2, warm”, “pale, swollen tongue, thin white coat”, “wood's full, water's empty” — straight into the right field.
  • Open a new case by voice“new case for Bella, owner Maria Gonzalez” — it reads the owner and patient back, new or existing, before it creates anything.
  • Ask about any past case“what did we find on Thunder last time?”, “open the last case I saw” — it searches your whole practice.
  • Two-way and multilingual: it speaks English, German or French, and confirms every entry before it saves.

Access stays scoped — the assistant only ever reaches cases you could already open yourself. Voice needs a connection.

New AI decision support

A second read of the findings you recorded

One click folds the exam you've charted — intake, tongue, pulse, palpation, five element — into ranked pattern suggestions, each citing the findings behind it. Treat them as a prompt to test your own reasoning against, never as a result: every suggestion belongs to your clinical judgement before it belongs in the record.

  • Ranked differentials with high / moderate / low confidence — each rationale cites the exact findings behind it, so you can check the reasoning, not just the answer.
  • Apply to form fills Eight Principles, Zang-Fu, pathogen and pattern. You review and adjust — nothing auto-saves.
  • A suggested prescription of 6–12 points with technique and side, added to your plan only if you want it.
  • Decision support only. The vet diagnoses — verify every suggestion against your own examination and knowledge before you accept it.

Optional and metered transparently, with a monthly allowance. Nothing the model proposes enters the record until you put it there.

Suggestions sit beside the form — you read the rationale, then decide what goes in.

New Works offline

Charting continues with no connection

AnimaChart installs like an app and works with no connection. Open a case before you ride out and the whole exam is right there — chart every finding with zero bars, and it syncs itself the moment you're back in range.

  • Open the app and page through all seven steps — pre-loaded on the device, no connection needed.
  • Every finding is saved on the device and replays automatically when you reconnect — in order, last-write-wins.
  • Even start a brand-new case offline; it becomes the real case — findings panel and all — once you're back online.
  • A status pill always shows what's saved on the device and what's still syncing.

Voice and AI need a connection — everything else keeps working without one.

The core idea

A running summary of everything you've charted

A findings panel follows you through every step and keeps a running synthesis of what you've recorded — no flipping between pages to see where the case stands.

  • Per-organ rollups with Shu+Mu pair and Shu+Mu+Ting trio flags
  • Active Sheng/Ke disturbances the moment you set the wheel
  • Tongue-pattern matches and Kidney Yin/Yang pulse readouts
  • A running diagnosis snapshot you can act on
Open a case
AnimaChart in the browser: an exam step on the left with the findings panel permanently docked as a right-hand rail — organ rollups, Sheng/Ke disturbances and a diagnosis snapshot.
The panel stays docked beside the step — on a phone it opens as a sheet over it.
AnimaChart's pentagonal Five-Element wheel at full width in the browser, with the Sheng and Ke cycles drawn and disturbed relationships highlighted.
Every element set, every disturbed relationship named — on one screen.

Five-Element reasoning

Sheng and Ke relationships, flagged as you set the wheel

Tap each element balanced, excess or deficient. AnimaChart reads the whole wheel and flags every disturbed generating and controlling relationship — and proposes a starting position from the palpation, tongue and pulse you already recorded, for you to confirm.

Capture

Body maps instead of free-text forms

Tap-to-cycle diagrams for each step — so charting stays fast, consistently coded, and legible in the barn.

Who it's for

Made for the vet practising TCVM

Maps drawn for the horse

The body maps, the hoof schema and the point canon follow equine anatomy. Small animals are coming in the near future.

A clinical document

Cool, calm, paper-like surfaces and hairline structure that stay legible in the barn and in direct sunlight.

Simplicity

Sign in, start a case, and chart. Autosave on every field — there are no Save buttons.
